WELCOME 2010!!! ( How do yo say?: Twenty-ten?, two thousand and ten?, two-o-one-o?)

Coming off of “two thousand nine,” you’ll probably say “two thousand ten.” In fact, 4 out of 5 YouTube videos  have people pronouncing it that way. 

But you would be wrong, so wrong, according to the National Association of Good Grammar.

“NAGG has decided to step in and decree that (2010) should officially be pronounced ‘twenty ten,’ and all subsequent years should be pronounced as ‘twenty eleven,’ ‘twenty twelve,’ etc.,” proclaims the association’s news release.

A British tradition on Christmas afternoon is the Queen's Christmas Message. At three o'clock in the afternoon, the Queen gives her Christmas Message to the nation which is broadcast on radio and television.
The first televised broadcast of the Queen's Christmas message was in 1957, but it is a tradition begun on the radio in 1932 by George V.
